Four or Five* people can travel and sleep in the Volkswagen California. The rail system moves the back seats smoothly and converts into a bed measuring 114 x 200cm. And at the press of a button, the roof pops up to reveal a double bed and mattress on sprung slates.

After a day spent touring, you’re all ready to relax and settle down for a bite to eat. Thanks to the California’s fully functional kitchen and comfortable sleeping space, you can set up camp in a matter of minutes.

Equipped with a two-burner hob, kitchen sink and 42-litre fridge. Outside chairs and a table that folds away neatly into the tailgate and awning for some Al fresco dining.

A first aid kit, fire extinguisher and all the legally required items including breathalyzer kit, warning triangle, spare bulb, fuses and a high visibility jacket will send you safely on your way.
